Tamola Cemetery

Located on the Mt. Hebron church Road across from the Mt. Hebron Methodist Church. It has no official name that I can find. I have named it Tamola because it is close to the place where Tamola was, 100 years ago. It is still shown on the Kemper County State road map but there is no town there, just a few houses. It is Black and there must be 100-150 graves there with no marker, just the little sign the funeral home puts there to mark the grave and most of them cannot be read. The cemetery goes back 135 years at least, some of the names are spelled several ways and I copied them just as they are set in stone. Thank you Gene Allred for donating this cemetery list.
